Genesis 26:5 - “And in your offspring all the nations of the earth shall be blessed…”

From the very beginning, God planned to save the entire world through Jesus.

He saved every species of animal on the ark. And he will save people of every nation on the earth.

The angels’ announcement of Jesus’ birth is call to :

Luke 2:8-11 - And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with great fear. And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

He came for all the people - every nation - to fulfill what God told Abraham 2,000 years earlier. He designed this.

Promise made. Promise kept. God never fails.

So when you’re tempted to believe this whole Jesus thing may not be true because he still hasn’t returned, remember: 2,000 years. He said he’d be back. I believe him:

Revelation 22:20 - “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
