Genesis 5:22, 24 - Enoch walked with God after he fathered Methuselah… Enoch walked with God, and he was not, for God took him.

Genesis 5 is a genealogy with facts of mens’ names, their childrens’ names, and life spans.

Until… verse 22 when we read that Enoch walked with God. It’s written twice.

His heart was somehow inclined toward God’s original design:

Genesis 3:8 - And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day

Adam and Eve dwelled with God. He walked among them.

Genesis 5 is a list of facts. Until something akin to faith interrupts - walking with God.

Oh, may God teach us how to walk with him with a pure heart until we dwell with him again.
